Try to use stir, bake, boil and steaming methods of cooking as these cooking methods offers great nutritive value to the food while making it less fatty.

Considering low fat soups, is the best option for hunger pangs, however, taking some dietitians advice is even better, to know what kind of food your body would aspect in order to reduce your weight as well as sugar level.

Yes, it is not possible to avoid desserts and sweet dishes (especially for diabetic patients) but sometimes the extremely lavishing appeal of these desserts even inclines them to eat it drastically. At that moment of time do not forget utilizing artificial sweetener, or try to avoid desserts, sweet dishes etc, but if you are dieing to taste it, cook that particular dish at your own home with artificial sweeteners so you will not churn out those extra calories.

Remember, check the calorie intake of any particular dish (which you can do while knowing about the food product you are using in a dish) to avoid any health hazard while cooking for diabetic patients.
